Design Consulting Services
We participate as a member of the architectural design team across every project phase — from conceptual design through construction administration and low voltage commissioning.
Conceptual Phase
Our approach to the conceptual phase is to create the Basis of Design conversation in a narrative document with illustrations.
Schematic Phase
We create the schematic narrative using the Basis of Design concept, if not already created. We also include a list of probable costs in this phase.
Design Development
We create drawings and details that illustrate device placements to match the Basis of Design documents. When appropriate we include basic specifications and update probable costs.
Construction Documents
We create a set of drawings including details, floor plans, site plans, diagrams, schedules, and legends. We include appropriate CSI Masterformat specifications for our contracted scope.
Bid Phase
We review received bids for accuracy and compliance with the bid documents.
Construction Administration / LV Commissioning
We provide CA services — reviewing submittals, RFIs, and design questions — plus low voltage commissioning to ensure the installed product matches the design and end user expectations.
